Cookies Policy
Last Updated: 03.05.2026
This Cookies Policy explains how Vannerfly uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at vannerfly.com. The Vannerfly iOS application does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any form of cross-app tracking — this policy applies to the website only.
Vannerfly is a non-commercial hobby project. We do not run advertising, do not sell your data, and do not embed third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking SDKs.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website you visit. Cookies allow a site to recognise your browser across requests so it can keep you signed in, remember your preferences, or measure how the site is being used. They are passive — they do not contain executable code.
2. Cookies we use
Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or setting your privacy preferences. They include:
- Authentication / session cookies – keep you signed in (e.g.
accessToken, refreshToken). - Security cookies – help us protect against cross-site request forgery and similar abuse.
- Consent cookie – stores your cookie preferences so we don't have to ask you again on every visit.
Analytics cookies (optional)
We may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits and understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the website. Analytics cookies are only set if you opt in via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the consent cookie or, if available, using the cookie preferences link.
Advertising cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, ad networks, retargeting pixels, or behavioural-advertising SDKs. The website does not show third-party ads.
3. Third-party cookies
We try to minimise third-party cookies. Some pages may load resources from third-party services (for example, embedded maps); those services may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We do not embed advertising or behavioural-tracking SDKs.
4. How long cookies last
Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them. Authentication cookies are kept for the lifetime of your session; consent and preference cookies are persistent so we can remember your choices across visits.
5. How to control cookies
You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown the first time you visit. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies for specific sites:
Disabling essential cookies will break parts of the website (you won't be able to stay signed in). Disabling optional cookies has no effect on functionality.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above tells you when it was last changed.
